Long time no see....

Well I know it's been a while since I blogged! I haven't done it since I've been back in Arkansas. As some of you may know, I've had HORRIBLE computer problems lately. Matter of fact, I just got back from Little Rock after picking it up from the ONLY Toshiba authorized service place in the state. And this was the second time I've taken it there. And it STILL not fixed. They said I'm just going to have to send it back to Toshiba and let them work on it at their depot. So, again soon I will be without my computer, this time for a couple of weeks. Joy. Anyways, on to the better stuff.....what we've been up to.

Last weekend we took Jake to see the Monster Trucks Jam at Alltel. He LOVED it!! Tom and I weren't too impressed, but then, we weren't there for us. For instance, there wasn't even dirt....they drove on a track that looked to me like a go-cart track. And it was LONG...almost too long. Especially since most of it wasn't even the monster trucks, it was 4-wheelers and motorcycles. But oh well. As I said, Jake had a blast. Here's some pictures from the event:

Ok, well due to the current ongoing computer problems, this has taken WAY longer than expected, so I'll have to finish up later! I promise I'll try to stay more current. Until next time....

Texas Vs. Ohio State

So, Jake and i went to our first ever Bowl game. Actually, it was his first college game at all! Here's how it all went down.

Saturday night, Dad got a phone call from one of his friends at work telling him that he had an extra ticket on the field level to the Fiesta Bowl Monday night. Well, I was totally jealous! Texas and Ohio State, man that was gonna be a good game! So Monday around 11, Dad called from work and told me he was able to scrounge up 4 more tickets, for free! So John and Amy got a babysitter and Jake and I got ready. On top of the 4 seats, he also got 4 passes to the APS Pregame party, which included free food, open bar, face painting, and a few kids games. We had a blast! Jake was surprisingly good throughout the game. Although, he did learn a new word. We were all pulling for Texas. We had to go buy the shirts though, because being Arkansas fans, of course, we don't have any Texas apparal laying around! Anyways, in the stands, we were surrounded by Ohio State fans! So, in the 4th quarter, Jake said something to me. (he was asking a question) I couldn't quite understand him after he asked me twice, so I leaned down and got real close and said, "What did you say honey?" He proceeded to say, "Where's that fucking cowboy at momma" !!! I was floored. But I ignored it, I didn't want to make a big deal out of it in hopes he'd just forget. (Which he did) The people behind us are oviously where he heard that from! Again, they we Ohio fans. It wasn't funny, but it was, if you know what I mean! But other than that, the whole thing was awesome! Oh, and Matthew McConaghey was there!!! On the sidelines across from us. WAAAAAYYYY down there, but he was there! He's a Texas fan. Duh. I asked the guy in front of us if we could use his binoculars and he let us. Amy and I were thrilled!

Anyways, enough of the chatter, here's the pictures from last night, enjoy!

This was our parking spot, right outside the door.

This was at the pregame party, before we found our Texas stuff.

And the game...
