TGI almost F

Man, this has been a crazy week. I can't wait until tomorrow at noon. Classes will be done, the week will be over, and it's time to start having Halloween fun! I have one more test to take in the morning. I took one today, finished up a paper Monday night, wrote reports, worked a little Monday and Tuesday, picked up a trailer of hay today, did the trunk or treat yesterday, and we're having a hay ride tomorrow! Whew............Oh yeah, and Tech's having a haunted house that I want to take Jake to sometime before it closes. Saturday night's the last night, which is when we'll probably have to go. I have to study tonight, and we'll be out trick-or-treating tomorrow. Sunday is lookin' REALLY good right now....NOTHING IS PLANNED!!

So, I feel like I can officially say, "Tom has quit smoking" !! Yeah! Saturday will be two weeks. Now we have to think about when we can get started on the dippin', quitting it that is. Baby steps....baby steps.....

I have come to the conclusion that Conrad (my cat) knows how to open the doggy door, even if it's locked. I've been trying to keep him inside with that bandage on his foot, but he's determined. At first I thought I was going crazy! Because I made sure I knew he was inside when I left. (Which he was, he was laying under the table on top of the vent) Then I came home and could not find him! So I checked the dog door and it was unlocked. So, I thought, "dang, guess I forgot to make sure that was locked." So at that moment, I locked it. When we left last night for the halloween thing, I came home and couldn't find him again! This time, the first thing I checked was the dog door, and it was unlocked! Hmmmmmm. The only thing I can fathom is that Conrad has learned how to move the switch from one side to the other, locking and unlocking it. I guess now we're going to have to get a little more creative! Anyways, I'll be calling the vet tomorrow to see if they got the results back from the path lab, keep your fingers crossed for me. And also for Jake, I would feel really bad for him if he lost TWO pets in a month. He's been saying the last few days, "My kitty's sick momma." And he's been loving on him a lot more than before. I don't want to have to give him any bad news. Not right now anyways.

So, enough of that, here are some pictures from last night. Jake was a Storm Trooper. He's going to be Batman tomorrow.
