So, as most of you know, we're expecting another boy! It's been a long haul, but we're approaching the home stretch. I was extremely sick my first trimester all the way up to about 16 weeks. Then there were the killer headaches. Then came what we thought was a UTI, treated it, a week went by and I ended up in the ER with severe pain. Turns out I have a pinched ureter, causing urine to back up into my kidneys and infection. So, they had to put a stent in to straighten out my ureter and allow my kidneys to drain. Had that one about a week, but it was causing severe pain so the urologist took it out, had me wait a week, and then recheck my kidneys and make sure it wasn't doing the same thing again. Well, it was. So he had to put another one in, but this one is smaller. It still hurts, some days more than others, but doc said this one HAS to stay in until the baby's born. Also said I have about a 50/50 shot that this same sort of thing would happen in future pregnancies, it's just the way my body is :( Oh well, we're pushing through. So on a better note, we had a 4D ultrasound today and everything is checking out perfectly with the baby. I'll post some belly and ultrasound pics. Also, we have names narrowed down to a few, but I'm giving Tom the final decion. Here's the few we're tossing around:
